Volunteer Appreciation Week
We are so grateful for our incredible network of volunteers who play a vital role in our community. Your commitment to Wellspring and our mission help us to provide person-centered support to adults with I/DD in our day program, work opportunities, and residential services.
From assisting in classes, supporting baristas, to serving at events; the gift of your time and talents makes a big impact every day. Whether you are a regular volunteer each week or spend a few hours with us as your schedule allows, we appreciate you! Volunteer appreciation week is April 20th -26th and we look forward to celebrating you at our appreciation event; Wednesday (04/23) at Unity on Park from 4:00-6:00pm.

Flutes & Fables
Story Time with Linda
Once a month during our Morning Huddle, Linda takes the stage to share a story with our community. Each story begins and ends with the sound of her High Spirits wooden flute setting the tone for the tale ahead. From classics like Stone Soup and The Little Red Hen, each story reinforces a meaningful life lesson. As her story begins, people gather closer eager to listen and share their ideas. Each story time provides space for connection and reflection.
Bowled Over with Gratitude
Bowl-A-Rama Success!
THANK YOU to everyone who fundraised on behalf of Wellspring, joined the fun, donated, sponsored, or volunteered at this year’s Bowl-A-Rama Fundraising Event. You have bowled us over with your generosity. We are thrilled to share that together we raised over $66,000, every dollar providing opportunities for adults with I/DD in our day program, work opportunities, and residential services.

Grand Opening Unity on Park - Rescheduled
Last month’s newsletter announced the Grand Opening celebration for Unity on Park. This was originally scheduled for May 1st, but is going to be rescheduled for some time in June. More details coming soon.

Club 21
Club 21 is a once-a-month social event hosted by Wellspring Community and designed to give adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities a place to socialize, relax and have a great time. Club 21 also gives parents and caregivers a night off! Participants must pre-register and pay in advance.

Program Closure
Wellspring Offices and in-person programming are closed tomorrow 04/18 for Good Friday. Our online programming will be hosting two classes open to any currently enrolled participants. For more information, please see the family update for more information.
