Where Reece goes, light and laughter are sure to follow.

He is kind, positive, and always eager to try new things. Outside of Wellspring, he loves going to the movies (Inside Out 2 was awesome!), traveling, and seeing musicals (Wicked was also awesome!). He also loves to visit Disney and go on cruises.

Holidays are special to Reece because he gets to spend time with his favorite people. Reece is most proud of his family, he has a twin brother, a big sister, and a brother-in-law. He loves them dearly! When Reece uses words, like “friends,” “family,” and “fun” to describe Wellspring, it’s an absolute honor.

Reece enjoys a variety of classes in our in-person programming. He is very fond of the classes where he is learning how to cook such as Lite Bites and Lunch & Cooking. He loves any opportunity to make a smoothie, strawberry is his favorite.

In addition to the classes that help Reece refine his cooking skills, he really enjoys trying things he never thought he would. In Print Shop he is learning how to print designs on a variety of products using different types of equipment and using a computer to create designs.  He loves learning new things alongside of his friends, “I love Wellspring! My time there has been some of the best times!”

Not only is Reece learning and growing in his skills at Wellspring, but he makes a big impact on the lives of others as well. He proudly notes, “I am a good friend to everyone. I am happy and positive.”  Elaine, Reece’s Lite Bite’s teacher says, “Reece has a level of enthusiasm that is contagious…Circumstances don’t get in his way of finding joy. He is a delight!”

He hopes that his future holds new and exciting experiences at Wellspring and work at a movie theater. While he enjoys his work at a local coffee shop, he hopes to align his love of movies with his work.

When asked what Reece wanted people to know about him, he said, “I’m smart. I’m cool. I’m handsome. I have great hair. I am funny and I make people laugh.”
