A Letter from the Executive Director

Looking Ahead with Love

Dear Wellspring Community,

I love new beginnings—don’t you? They feel fresh, clean, and full of life. A new year at Wellspring brings a renewed sense of hope and expectation, along with exciting changes: a new trimester, new classes, a new residential program, and even new staff members. There are so many new and exciting things to look forward to! In 2025, you’ll get to know our new team members, and let me tell you, I’m thrilled about them. You’ll also learn more about our residential services as Unity on Park reaches full capacity and our Independent Living Program hits its stride. And, of course, we’ll continue to keep you updated on all the incredible ways Wellspring participants are raising the bar for what’s possible for adults with I/DD.

Amid all this newness, we also celebrate the consistent and enduring aspects of Wellspring—our community and programming that make Wellspring truly unique. During a recent meeting, I was asked, “What sets Wellspring apart from other organizations that do what you do?” The answer came to me instantly because it’s woven into the fabric of everything we do: LOVE.

At Wellspring, you don’t have to look far to experience the love of God in every person you meet. You see it in a smile, feel it in a hug, and hear it in the laughter that fills the air. As 1 John 4:12 reminds us: “If we love one another, God lives in us, and His love is made complete in us.” All of us are human and we all have our moments, but we know God lives here at Wellspring and we are going to keep loving each other through it all.

As we step into this new year full of fresh beginnings, we are holding tightly to the one thing that remains constant: love. At Wellspring, love is the heartbeat of everything we do, from new programs and team members to familiar faces and daily hugs. In a world that often feels chaotic, our hope is to be a place where love flourishes and we look forward to seeing it do so in 2025.

With Grace & Gratitude,

Warmly Welcoming Unity Residents

At our soft opening event of the Unity on Park, the Castle Rock Quilt Club graciously gifted each resident of Unity on Park with a handmade quilt to warmly welcome them to their new homes.

Thank you CRQC for being a part of this adventure and for helping our residents decorate their brand-new apartments with flare!
