I/DD Awareness
Each March we celebrate Developmental Disability Awareness Month, I/DD Awareness Day, and World Down Syndrome Day. This is an important time to highlight the significant barriers, challenges, and history of disability. This month also reminds us that people with disabilities deserve to be active members of our communities with access to resources, employment opportunities, housing, and more.
At Wellspring, we know that when everyone is included and valued, our communities are enriched. This is why we’re committed to creating a community where adults with disabilities get to live life on their terms through robust day programming, meaningful work opportunities, and innovative residential services.
Awareness isn’t just for one month; inclusion is an ongoing effort. You can make an impact by:
- Learning more about DD Awareness Month, World Down Syndrome Day, and I/DD Awareness Day.
- Volunteering with us, get to know people in our community and be a part of the mission!
- Donating to support inclusive programming.

Bowl-a-Rama
Let the Good Times Roll!
Join us on Saturday, April 12th for Wellspring’s 3rd Annual Bowl-A-Rama! Bowl-A-Rama is a family-friendly fundraiser that brings our community together to support Wellspring Community through peer-to-peer fundraising. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect, have fun, and make a meaningful impact! Register by 12:00 pm on March 28th to receive a Bowl-A-Rama shirt!

Club 21
Club 21 is a once-a-month social event hosted by Wellspring Community and designed to give adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities a place to socialize, relax and have a great time. Club 21 also gives parents and caregivers a night off! Participants must pre-register and pay in advance.
