Meet Out Virtual Teachers

Back in May, we announced the launch of Virtual Program, which offers a robust array of enrichment classes that educate and empower our STARS. Classes include Zumba, Paint n’ Sip, Chapter Chat, The Art of Plants and more. These classes engage our STARS, keep their minds and bodies active, and provide important life skills. We’re so happy to introduce our incredible staff that makes the magic happen!

Leslie Beauchamp is our Virtual Manager and teaches Dance, Nutrition and Fitness. Leslie’s teaching style is energetic and upbeat. Her passion for movement, health, and fitness is an inspiration to our STARS and gives them the tools they need to make wise choices and take good care of themselves. Leslie likes to spend her free time working out, but you can also find her enjoying pizza or a good pumpkin spice latte every once and a while!

She was able to stay at home for several years before re-starting her career working with homeschool families. Jill and her husband have two grown children in Minnesota and Wisconsin. On the weekends, you’ll find Jill spending time outdoors with her husband and Cocker Spaniel. She also loves exploring new ways to be creative!

Kristin Thompson is a Speech Language Pathologist and has worked with many age groups and varying disabilities. She spent 11 years in Florida working in the school systems and medical settings. She has missed the joy and enthusiasm of working with adults like the Wellspring STARS, and is thrilled to be a part of the Virtual teaching team.

She is always looking for new places visit and new experiences to broaden her horizons. When not at Wellspring, she’s most likely hiking, camping, rock climbing, or jamming out to music. During her undergrad at CSU, she studied abroad in Austria and the Netherlands where she also taught English. She loves to incorporate the multicultural aspects of her life into everything she does.
