Wellspring Community is grateful for every donation we receive in support of our mission. The generosity of our donors is what allows us to continue our work in the community. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, we have a responsibility to be transparent and utilize our funds efficiently.We understand that circumstances can change and that errors can sometimes occur. This policy outlines the circumstances under which Wellspring Community may refund a donation.

General Policy

Donations made to Wellspring Community are generally non-refundable. When a donation is made, we put it to work immediately to fund our programs and initiatives. However, we will consider a refund under specific circumstances of error. 

Refunds for Errors

We will honor requests for a refund that are made in a timely manner for genuine errors, such as:

• The donation was made for an incorrect amount.
• The donation was accidentally duplicated.

If you have made an error in making your donation to Wellspring Community, please notify us within 15 days of the transaction date.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us via one of the following methods:

In your request, please include the following information:

• Your full name
• The date of the donation
• The amount of the donation
• The last four digits of the credit/debit card used (for verification)
• A brief explanation of the reason for the refund request

Processing Refunds

Once we receive your request, we will review it and notify you of the outcome. If your refund is approved, it will be processed within 5-10 business days. The refund will be issued using the original method of payment (e.g., back to the credit card used for the donation).

Donations are Not Refundable for Other Reasons

Please note that we are unable to issue refunds for donations for reasons other than a processing error. We cannot, for example, issue a refund if a donor simply changes their mind. This policy ensures that our program funding remains stable and that we can meet our commitments to the community we serve.We thank you for your understanding and your incredible support of Wellspring Community.
