To communicate an absence to Day Program, Families and Program Members can text absences to (720) 675-2044. Please send one message to both your driver and the attendance number.
Snow Closures or Delays
Wellspring typically follows the Douglas County school district for weather related closures, but not always for delayed starts as we have several other factors to consider. Please check 9News for up-to-date information on closures and delays. Wellspring will also send out an email and text message as soon as possible.

Medication Administration
*VERY IMPORTANT*
Do not send any medications to Wellspring Community without contacting Morgan Minardi at least one week prior the date the date the medication will need to be administered. We are unable to administer medications without prior approval and completed authorization paperwork in advance.
- The Medication Authorization form (linked below) must be completed and signed by your health care provider for all medications administered at Wellspring. This includes both prescription and over-the-counter medications.
- Be sure each medication section reflects exactly how the medication is to be administered. Wellspring cannot administer any medication without a clear and specific order from the prescribing doctor.
- Once the form has been completed for all medications to be administered at Wellspring, please return it to Morgan Minardi.

For participants utilizing Health First Colorado or Child Health Plan Plus benefits, HCPF has recommended updating your contact information and communication preferences.
This is important so members get important updates about their health coverage, please help make sure HCPF has your most up-to-date mailing address, phone numbers and email address. This is especially important as preparations for the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency begin. You can update your information in any of the following ways:
- Visit Log In or Apply for Benefits | Colorado PEAK.
- Use the Health First Colorado app on your phone. This free app is for Health First Colorado and CHP+ members.
CHP+ members can call 800-359-1991. - Health First Colorado members can call or mail their county human services department.

Who should I contact if I need to make changes to my loved one’s schedule or services?
For any changes that may affect your loved one’s service plan, such as adjusting program days, updating transportation needs, or other scheduling updates, please reach out directly to your assigned Resource Coordinator. They will help ensure that any necessary updates are made to support continuity of care.
Does Wellspring accept Medicaid waivers?
Yes, Wellspring accepts both the Developmental Disabilities (DD) and Supported Living Services (SLS) waivers.
Is there a waitlist for enrollment?
Yes, Wellspring does have a waitlist for enrollment. To be added to the waitlist, you’ll need to request and submit an application. Please contact our main office to request an application.
Does Wellspring offer transportation?
Transportation options may be available based on location and availability. Please connect with your Resource Coordinator for more information.
