Volunteer

Wellspring has an amazing network of volunteers who help to make our programs possible. More than 130 volunteers donated their time and talents to advance the Wellspring mission. Whether you’re interested in teaching classes, baking, helping in the coffee shop, studio or garden or just hanging out with our friends during lunch, there is a place for you to volunteer at Wellspring!

We ask that all volunteers make a weekly commitment. This allows you to get to know our participants, staff and provides you the opportunity to get to know our program.

All volunteers must complete a volunteer application, have a background check, and attend a volunteer training. If you are interested in getting involved, please email us or call our office at 303-660-1935.

The Castle Rock Collective:

The Castle Rock Collective is a unique coffee shop and market located in downtown Castle Rock created as a joint venture between Wellspring and World Orphans. Wellspring STARS are employed to help prepare and serve coffee and  baked goods as well as work in the retail section of the store. Our desire is to have volunteers run and manage the day to day activities of the Castle Rock Collective in support of the STARS who are employed there.

Volunteers at the Castle Rock Collective will understand the mission of both organizations to empower STARS locally as well as women and families around the world. Volunteers will need to understand and be able to share the mission when speaking to customers and community members. This is an adaptive and inclusive volunteer environment.

Duties:
• Support STARS take orders and prepare food or drinks
• Support STARS as they process sales of products
• Help restock inventory
• General set up/clean up at beginning/end of shift

Commitment:
We would love for a regular commitment from our volunteers. This could be a once a week commitment or a once a month commitment. The Castle Rock Collective will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 am-2 pm. Volunteer shifts will be from 8:30am- 11:30am and 11:30am to 2:30pm.
