As our program and operations move into our new home next week, we’re reminded of the road and people that brought us here. Growth is never something we do alone.
This has been true since our founding when a mother rallied a community behind her vision of opportunity and hope for her daughter. Today, our community continues to be shared by generous hearts, creative minds, and a shared belief in what’s possible.
Our new home is a reflection of our ongoing story: people coming together to create a place where adults with I/DD are supported, valued, and belong.
Even as we take this next step, the journey of Wellspring continues, because at the heart of it all we grow together.

As flowers begin to form on the trees and the grass turns green, I’m reminded that spring is a season of renewal. We’re experiencing that fresh energy here at Wellspring.
Our team has been busy preparing and exploring our new space. Each step is sparking fresh ideas for new classes, opportunities, and possibilities for the people that we serve.
We’re thrilled to share that Wellspring will move into our forever home the week of April 27. Then, beginning May 4, we will kick off our Summer trimester at Unity on Wolfensberger.
With this move, we look forward to welcoming new residents, new participants, and expanding our programming. To say we are excited is truly an understatement.
Volunteer Appreciation
We Love Our Volunteers
We extend heartfelt gratitude to our volunteers who strengthen our community each day. From our lunchrooms to our programs, your support touches every corner of Wellspring. Your generosity and commitment to our mission help make everyday moments possible.
We are so grateful for a new partnership with Circle K! They are offering an everyday way for you to support Wellspring.
At all four Castle Rock locations, $0.01 from every gallon of gas sold will be donated to our programs! If you’re filling up locally, choosing Circle K is an easy way to make a meaningful impact!
Each month, members of our program are nominated for an award recognizing their hard work, kindness, and participation at Wellspring.
Ted has an easy-going attitude and a calmness during times when others need support. He is such a nice guy who bring his Clark Kent energy to Wellspring each day.
Each month, a different Wellspring class will share a wish, wisdom, or something to brighten your day. This month’s contribution comes from Team Sports where community members collaborate and make connections through sports.
What is the hardest thing about working as a team?
Being overly helpful. In the sense that you do too much for team mates rather than just helping enough so that they can do their part and do as much as they are able.
What is the best part of being on a team?
Working together so that you support each other, working with friends, like a family.
