When Buddy thinks back to her first days at Wellspring, she remembers feeling nervous. Today, she says, “I am really proud to be here with my best friends. Wellspring is like my family and a home to me.”
Through the various ways Buddy is involved in our community, she has found belonging.
In Day Program, she is learning what it means to be a leader in one of her favorite classes and helping to lead our community tours.
In her work at the Collective, Buddy loves connecting with customers and ensuring they enjoy their visit.
One of the things Buddy values most is her growing independence. She is learning to take care of herself while enjoying the freedom to connect with others, pursue her interests, and make choices about how she spends her time.
Each day brings new opportunities for Buddy to grow, connect, and do more of what she loves.

Each month, members of our program are nominated for an award recognizing their hard work, kindness, and participation at Wellspring.
JJ is commonly referred to as the Mayor of Wellspring and it is obvious when you are on an outing with him, how he earned that nickname. JJ is incredibly friendly, introducing himself to everyone that he meets and remembering everyone’s name that he has previously met. When in the library people will come up to him to start a conversation and he will tell them who we are what we are doing there and truly act as an ambassador for the Wellspring Community
When a change in Paul’s schedule led him to a new class, he immediately dove in! He helped measure ribbon, build a wreath, construct a skyscraper, and make popcorn. His enthusiasm, willingness to try new things, and eagerness to contribute were wonderful to see. His energy was contagious, even encouraging the other guys to jump in and get involved.

Club 21
Club 21 is a monthly Friday social where people of all ages and abilities connect through themed activities, snacks, and friendship. Advance registration required. October’s Club 21 is a Halloween Dance Party.
Town Hall
Join us for a community town hall to hear the latest updates, learn more about what’s happening at Wellspring, and ask questions. This is an opportunity to stay informed, connect with our community, and have an open conversation.
