"Quality, Tranquility, Faith, & Trust ; All at the Same Time"

Meet Mike!

Mike has been part of the Wellspring Community for nearly a decade and describes himself as “Quality, Tranquility, Faith, and Trust; all at the same time.” Mike enjoys our in-person programming, but also spends a day each week zooming into our online classes. Additionally, he was recently the Art Studio Cooperative representative on the Cooperative Leadership Team. Not only is Mike a leader at Wellspring, but he is also very kind to others, noting that it is his “strong suit.”

Mike says, “I like myself; I like my personality,” and his personality is one of a kind. He is open to trying new things, is deeply spiritual, encourages others, and is committed to his personal growth. Mike’s ability to care for others and his easy-going nature make a tremendous impact on all of us at Wellspring.

What Mike loves about Wellspring are the opportunities to learn and grow with others. He cares about everybody who is part of our community. He talks about when he and his friends took Photography and Community Connections together. He really enjoyed the opportunity to get to know them better, but learning together and helping each other out made their friendships deeper. This experience also helped him foster a relationship with his girlfriend, who shares his passion for learning and being kind to others.

Mike would love to be an adventurer searching for ancient and spiritual relics and hopes to be a contestant on The Voice one day. Until then, you may find him practicing martial arts, meditating, helping with chores at home, or learning and growing at Wellspring.

Exciting News from our Jefferson County Neighbors

Trailhead Community is a neurodiverse community opening its doors this fall! Trailhead Community will be home to adults with I/DD and neurotypical individuals alike. Their primary focus for the neurotypical residents is the senior population as they would benefit from many of the amenities the community offers. Trailhead strives to create a safe, independent home that is multigenerational, diverse, and truly community oriented. The remaining units for sale are for the senior population. There is an active waitlist that you can join at any time for I/DD sales or for the portion of the building that is affordable rental units. More information can be found at trailheadcommunity.org or by reaching out to their program manager, Jeans Mobley.

Wellspring Giving Society

On Thursday, June 13th, we launched the Wellspring Giving Society with a breakfast event at Cielo in Castle Pines, sponsored by Aloha Fund. Attendees enjoyed a complimentary breakfast and learned about Wellspring’s mission and impact and were invited to join the Wellspring Giving Society (a 5-year pledge program). The Giving Society will help create sustainable funding for Wellspring. We are deeply grateful to all who have joined the Wellspring Giving Society; your generous commitment ensures the continued growth and success of our mission. To join the Wellspring Giving Society or for more information, please contact Allen Lundberg.
